Frequently Asked Questions

Can anyone come to the runs?

You bet! We pride ourselves in inclusivity; No matter Age or fitness level as long as you have a positive attitude!

How much does it cost?

Everything is FREE. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive club with no barriers.

I'm new to running & worried I might be too slow.

FsRC strongly encourages runners of levels to join us in our group runs. At feel good fridays, we offer a walk/run pace group in our FGF 5k just for folks like you. no one gets left behind, no one runs alone.

When does FsRC run?

We currently offer two (consistent) weekly runs:

  1. Track Tuesdays at memorial south park starting at 630pm. A 60-90 minute, structure speed workout designed to make you speedy.

  2. Feel Good Fridays at the Clubhouse, 7pm on Fridays. 5k/10k routes each week followed by beers and hanging out.

Where's the clubhouse?

our clubhouse is currently located in the courtyard behind 1008 e 20th. we host all of our feel good friday runs there unless otherwise posted.

Are there washrooms/change rooms at the Clubhouse?

We ask that you come changed and ready to run on Friday nights, as there is no access to public washrooms.

Is there somewhere to store my bags at the Clubhouse?

after we depart for our friday run the clubhouse is locked. Most people are comfortable leaving their belongings and/or bicycles in the clubhouse while we are on the run. However, this is done at your own risk. Fraser street run club is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Are there washrooms/changerooms at the Track?

At Eric Hamber no but at our winter track memorial yes.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately the clubhouse is home to several dogs who prefer making friends of the human variety and can get kinda grumpy around those of the fur bearing type. so we ask kindly to leave the furry companions at home. As for Track Tuesdays, there is a strict no dog policy at Point Grey Secondary Track.
